📚Educational Post📚

The City Crew is out hard working to repair First street and will be out again Monday-Thursday from Main to Nutting. Whether you agree or disagree, the SAFETY of a human being is pretty important to us here at the City, and should be for you too.
The road 🚧barriers🚧 are up for a reason- which means the road is CLOSED, please follow the rules in a construction zone.

Section 122 and Ordinance #1051-18. Street Barriers.

Whenever any street or alley or part thereof is closed for repair, rebuilding, construction or reconstruction and suitable warning signs and barricades, which so advise the public; are erected at all intersections of the closed street or alley with all other streets and alleys, it shall be unlawful for any person or operator without authority from the proper official to:
(a) Destroy or remove any barricade, warning sign, light or torch used to close the street or alley or warn the public of the closing
(b) Drive on that portion of the street or alley that is closed: Provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the regular authorities of the city, state or federal government from having free access to the work at all times.
