Sgt. Adam Sayler began his career in Law Enforcement in 2002 with the Kansas Department of Corrections. While with the KDOC he served as an Entry Team member on the Special Operation Response Team, or S.O.R.T. Team. Adam was also the Supply Specialist for the team in charge of all property and equipment. In 2004 Adam hired on as a Patrolman with the St. Joh Police Department. He spent three years at the rank of Patolman and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2007. Sgt. Sayler is a multi-disciplinary certified Law Enforcement Instructor and is also a certified Police Administrator for the state of Kansas, graduating from the 7th Annual Kansas Police Administrators Seminar in August of 2008.
