CDBG HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM

 

On January 2, 2004, the City of St. John was awarded $310,000 in Community Development Block Funds to rehabilitate and demolish houses in St. John.  This project will take place in the target area as follows:  southern boundary First Avenue from western city limits to West Street; eastern boundary is West Street; northern boundary is Sixth Avenue; western boundary is the city limits. 

 

Approximately 15 homes in this area will be rehabilitated, with 4 structures being demolished.  Homeowners must meet LMI (low-to-moderate income) guidelines as follows:
