Electricity Rates...
Residential User Rates:
- $.089 per KWH for each and every KWH.
- Minimum charge is a $5.00 meter and service charge
per month.
Commercial User Rates:
- $.089 per KWH for each and every KWH.
- Minimum charge is a $8.00 meter and service charge
per month.
Water Rates...
The rates per month for the use of water
in the city shall be as follows:
- The monthly minimum rate is set at $5.00 for the
first 3,000 gallons of water a customer may consume.
- For each 1,000 gallons of consumption over the first
3,000 gallons the rate shall be $1.60 per one-thousand gallons.
- An additional flat-fee of $6.00 per month shall be
charged to every customer who is billed for water, sewer, electric or
solid waste services and is also protected by the city's water system
for fire safety.
- The state mandated water protection fee of $.03 cents
for each 1,000 gallons of water sold at retail by the city shall be
listed as a separate line item on the city's billing.

- For residential, commercial and industrial
contributors, monthly user charges will be based on average monthly
water usage during the months of January, February and March.
- The charges per month for residential, commercial and
industrial contributors shall be a base rate of $5.00 plus $2.00 per
1,000 gallons.
Trash Rates...
- Residential trash service is $10.75 per month, with
weekly pickup. However, during this period of fluctuating fuel
prices, the trash service rate may fluctuate month-to-month.
