Welcome to the St. John Police Department web page.  We hope you find the page helpful in answering any questions you may have about our Police Department.

If you need to contact the Police in the event of an emergency, always call 911.  If it is not an emergency, our officers are dispatched through Stafford County Communications at (620) 549-3247.  The phone number directly to the Police Department is (620) 549-3443.  Please understand officers are not always at the Police Department and you may have to leave a voicemail.  If you wish to visit the Police Department for any reason, we are located at 115 E. 4thon the North side of the square, in the second story of the city building in St. John.

If you live in St. John, I encourage you to get to know and become involved with your Police Department.  We are best able to provide a safe and comfortable place to live through relationships with our citizens.  We encourage all of our citizens to report any crimes or safety concerns they come across, no matter how big or small.  This can be accomplished by contacting us at the phone numbers listed above, by contacting Stafford County Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477, or by emailing us at

We sincerely hope that you find your Police Department professional, friendly, and approachable.  We strive to serve our citizens with integrity, respect, and fairness.  Feel free to check out our facebook page where you can find out more information about your Police Department.
